This Congratulations card is hands down my favorite of all the cards I’ve ever made! I was so excited when I made this card that I didn’t want to let it go, lol. I made this Congratulations card for a friend of mine who will be giving birth to her first baby girl this coming April.
I used white, pink, and brown card stock and the 6 pink squares measure 1.5in by 1.5in. In order from left to right and top the bottom the embossing folders I used are Cuttlebug’s Anna Griffin Pirouette, Cuttlebug Simple Flowers, Cuttlebug’s Provo Craft Charles (though you can’t see it behind the brown dollie), Darice’s Snowflakes, Cuttlebug’s Anna Griffin Regal Braid, and Cuttlebug’s Provo Craft Swiss Dots. I used a Darice embossing folder to emboss the Congratulations and rubbed some silver Crystal Craft Ink Pad ink to make it pop. The brown dollie is a die cut cut from Spellbinders Medallion Five templet. I topped it off with a simple white ribbon and some strategically placed self-adhesive diamonds.
This card was inspired by a card I came across while browsing Pinterest, I would link it, but the link takes you to a site written in Russian, I think, and the picture isn’t there. Anyway, I hope my version does the original justice and inspires you to create your own version.
¡Chao!♡
